Delivery Methods
The delivery methods available to the customer are chosen at the time of purchase, with the customer having the option to choose between purchasing online and collecting from one of our physical stores or purchasing online with delivery to the customer's address. The order will only be sent after payment confirmation.
Manuel Alves safeguards against possible delays in shipping orders in cases where the item in question exists in low quantities and requires a special shipping method (for items that have to be sent from physical stores).
• If the order is collected from our stores, there will be no additional shipping costs. As soon as the order is available at the selected store, the customer will be informed by telephone and/or email and will have 10 days to collect it. After this period, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
• For deliveries to the customer's address, the customer must provide the correct address and the recipient's name. Deliveries are available to all countries in the European Union, taking into account the variation in postage costs for certain areas. The customer can track the delivery process in real time, directly with the carrier responsible for the shipment. We take into account possible delays related to the carrier, local holidays or possible difficulties in delivering to the customer's address. Deliveries will only be made on working days. If the order is not delivered, the carrier will contact the customer to reschedule the delivery or define a collection point. Alternatively, the order can be left directly at the nearest collection point.
• If an order is sent and/or forwarded to a collection point and is not collected by the customer, resulting in a return, Masalves Unipessoal Lda foresees a deduction of €4.00 which will be discounted from the refund to the customer. If it is impossible to deliver your order for reasons not attributable to Manuel Alves or the carrier, a notice will be left to collect the order or you will be contacted, at the email address or telephone number provided, to reschedule the delivery of the order.
Please note that, in the event of non-delivery of the product within the stipulated period, for reasons attributable to it, Manuel Alves will refund the amount paid, with the exception of costs incurred in sending the order, as well as any expenses relating to storage and new delivery attempts.

Order Confirmation - Conclusion of the Purchase and Sale Agreement
Before the user finalizes the order, a list of the item(s) purchased is always shown, as well as the quantities, size and color of the item(s). The customer must confirm their order, as well as the billing and delivery details provided. It is important that the user reads and accepts our terms and conditions for the purposes of purchasing through our Website.
When making an online purchase on our Website, a purchase and sale contract is concluded with Manuel Alves. After full payment has been made for the products purchased, the invoice is issued and sent to the email address provided by the user. No changes can be made after the invoice has been issued. Please note that shipping costs may be increased due to the order being resent or errors relating to the address provided by the customer.
The data provided by the user upon registration will be used for billing purposes. The user may, whenever he/she wishes, change or update his/her data.
Packaging and Shipping Damage Policy
1) Sustainability and Reuse of Packaging
Manuel Alves adopts sustainable practices, including the reuse of shoe boxes whenever possible, with the aim of reducing environmental impact. Reused packaging is checked beforehand to ensure its integrity and safety during transportation.
2) Packaging Damage During Transport
Although Manuel Alves takes every precaution to protect the products shipped, we are not responsible for damages exclusively to the packaging resulting from transportation. If the contents are intact and the product is in perfect condition, no replacement boxes or packaging will be provided.
3) Out of Stock Products for Replacement
In case of damage to the product caused by transportation and if the purchased model is not available for replacement, we will offer the customer one of the following options:
We recommend that customers inspect their order upon delivery. If you notice any visible damage to the packaging or product, please contact our customer service within 48 hours and attach photos of the damage for assessment.
